Dr. Kelly Willard
Dr. Kelly Willard is the owner of Hudson Veterinary Hospital. She graduated from Ross University in 2007 and did her clinical year at Virginia Tech. She also serves as a Major in the U.S Army Reserves as a veterinarian and was deployed to Afghanistan for 12 months in 2017. She and her husband Ryan, who is our practice manager and also the head girls soccer coach at Streetsboro High School, have 2 daughters and live in Cuyahoga Falls. They also have a rescued lab mix named Scarlet. In her spare time, Dr. Willard enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and running in the Boston Marathon every year.
Dr. Lisa Van Nieuwal
Dr. Lisa Van Nieuwal is our associate veterinarian. After a 14 year break when she worked at a few other practices in NE Ohio, including MedVet Akron as an ER veterinarian for 10 years, Dr. Lisa is finally back with us at Hudson Veterinary Hospital! She graduated from Ross University after also completing her undergrad at Virginia Tech. Dr. Lisa has five dogs (Fanny, Frihole and Thinamin the Chugs, Froggy the French Bulldog, and Theo a chihuahua) and three cats (Alphie, Evil and B), as well as a Dutch Warmblood horse named Cienta who she rides regularly in dressage competitions. In her free time she enjoys horseback riding, skiing and hiking. Dr. Lisa lives in Hudson.
Dr. Wendi Wotowiec
Dr. Wendi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Hudson Veterinary Hospital. She completed her undergrad at Kentucky Wesleyan and graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She has since worked at Wyoga Veterinary Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls and most recently at Valley Animal Hospital in Akron. Dr. Wendi has two cats (Butterscotch and Nagini) and three French Bulldogs Kilee, Ember, and Coal. She and her husband Lenny have a blended family of seven adult sons. In her spare time, Dr. Wendi enjoys reading, walking, doing puzzles, and being outside. Other than her college years, Dr. Wendi has always lived in Cuyahoga Falls.
Dr. Jillian Mesnick
Dr. Jillian Mesnick is our relief veterinarian who fills in whenever one of our doctors is out of town. She is a graduate of the Ohio State University. In her free time, Dr. Mesnick enjoys reading, writing, painting, designing jewelry, and being outside. Dr. Mesnick and her husband Dale have two adult children and a Siberian cat named Jasmine, and make their home in Solon.
