Thank you to all who participated in our “Going to the Dogs” winter fundraiser to support the Akron Children’s Hospital Doggie Brigade Program! Cynthia Duncan, supervisor of the Reinberger Family Center at Akron Children’s Hospital drew the winning ticket on March 1st. Ms. Duncan promotes the training and certification of dogs and their owners in the popular Doggie Brigade – bringing encouragement, comfort and smiles to young patients.

The winning raffle ticket went to animal lover, Jenn Nichols, who plans to donate the prize basket contents and veterinary services to a local animal shelter. Jenn purchased her ticket from our technician Diana who played a major role in promoting raffle ticket sales and sold over 600 tickets!

Jane Roberts, Dr. Bob’s wife and our Practice Manager, was pleased to present the Doggie Brigade with a check for $860.00 which will contribute to training costs for future brigade participants.
