Veterinary Assistants



Beth
started at Hudson Veterinary Hospital in 2002. She oversees all OSHA regulations and keeps careful records of our controlled substances. She also assists with appointments and surgeries.  Beth volunteers as a trail monitor with the MetroParks Service and enjoys going to comic book conventions. Beth lives in Twinsburg with her three rescued kitties Bonsai, Spot, and Fat Mikey.

 

Amanda came to Hudson Veterinary Hospital in 2008. She helps with appointments and spends time socializing our hospital cats. She is married to Matt and lives in Cuyahoga Falls with her dog Cinder and her three cats: Bumpie, Cleopatra, and Tiny. Amanda enjoys barrel racing with her horse Saabotaj, spending time with her miniature horse Little Gen, and is a busy 4H adviser for the Elite Equestrians 4H club.

 

Carlee returned to our team in 2016 after a year away. She helps our doctors with surgeries and appointments. She especially enjoys working with dogs and puppies who come in for appointments. Carlee and her husband Gino have two daughters and two rescue dogs named Wally and Jax. In her spare time, Carlee enjoys walking, baking, and spending time with her family. 

 

Juli joined our team as a veterinary assistant in 2015. She helps the doctors with appointments, lab work, and surgery, as well as ordering all of our supplies. She has previous experience as a wildlife rehabilitator and as a zookeeper at the Akron Zoo. She especially enjoyed working with the various exotic animals at the zoo, including porcupines and parrots. Juli and her husband Nate have a Newfoundland named Baloo and a baby boy.  Juli and Nate live in Canton.

 

Lori came on staff in 2015 with 12 years of previous veterinary assistant experience. She currently assists with appointments, surgeries, pharmacy refills, and lab work, as well as backup ordering. She also maintains our surgical machines and equipment. Lori has three grown boys and two adorable grandchildren. She is also “mom” to her four pups – Misty a lab mix, Mac a lab mix, Cabela a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and Koda a Boston Terrier. Lori spends her free time enjoying her dogs, sons, and her grandchildren. Lori lives in Streetsboro.
